We are looking for a Senior IT Auditor (m/f/d), based in Munich.
 
Your Team 
You will report to the Audit Director – Munich Hub, Audit is the home for those who dare to challenge the status quo and dig into various business matters. The Senior IT Auditor is an experienced specialist role with in-depth knowledge in internal/external audits and expertise in IT and internal control framework. The Impact You Will Have 
You will be one of the "building blocks" of the Allianz Commercial Global Internal Audit team, independently evaluating the internal control system to identify weaknesses and their mitigation.
You will advise managers and their departments on how to improve the controls and provide recommendations. You will have an exciting opportunity to learn about our company, its products and services globally and to enhance your knowledge on multiple lines of business and branch offices.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Perform and /or lead the IT audit engagements through full audit cycle.
• Assist in the maintenance of a dynamic audit universe, incorporating emerging risks
• and significant changes to the business in the annual risk assessment process. 
• Comply with the audit policy and the respective standards.
• Support the update of audit methods, initiate improvements of workflows, processes,
• and control systems and promote best practice sharing. Formulate audit methodologies including Data Analytics.
• Establish and maintain relationships with the stakeholders from all levels and act as
• business partner.
• Communicate with stakeholders from all hierarchy levels and act as a business partner
• in a multicultural environment.
• Planning and implementation of technical trainings and information (team/peers).

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• You possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving acquired through an experience of 3-5 years in internal/external IT audit, compliance, risk management, or as an IT consultant (or equivalent) in the Financial Services sector.
• Your university degree in preferably in Information Technology/Computer Sciences, Engineering, business administrations a starting point for you to become a professional with a passion for ensuring organizational compliance and operational efficiency.
• Your strong analytical skills and a good understanding of processes, structures related to information systems audit, information security, IT controls, technology risk and theregulatory environments enable you to deliver solid results. 
• You are self-motivated and proactive, able to interact with people from different
• cultures.
• Your client orientation and excellent communication skills contribute to your success. 
• Audit certifications (CISA or similar) would be a plus.
• You are fluent in English, second language would be a plus
