<p><b><span>Would you like to contribute to save lives? </span></b></p><p><span>Join our Automotive Radar center at NXP TOULOUSE to develop solutions enabling the car to sense its environment for advanced driver assistance toward autonomous driving and zero road fatalities.</span></p><p><span>In this exciting role, you will be challenged by taking your part in the future of Automotive.</span></p><p></p><p><span>The <b>Automotive Embedded Systems (AES)</b> business line develops advanced solutions for automotive processors, microcontrollers, audio and radar systems. In Toulouse, about 70 engineers are working on automotive radar domain for autonomous driving. In the RADAR Validation group, we are now looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to support the development of NXP’s next chip generation.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Your responsibilities</span></b></p><p><span>As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:</span></p><ul><li><span>Defining validation benches environment and measurements conditions</span></li><li><span>Implementing measurements benches automation</span></li><li><span>Executing & reporting on IP measurements</span></li><li><span>Debugging Silicon (hardware and firmware)</span></li><li><span>Supporting creation of new measurements techniques and environments</span></li><li><span>Propose device Firmware updates to improve performance.</span></li><li><span>Supporting junior team members development</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Your profile</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in </span><span>Electrical/Electronic</span><span> engineering</span></li><li><span>10+ years’ experience in relevant industry</span></li><li><span>Expertise in high frequency measurements techniques and related parameters</span></li><li><span>Expertise in lab instrument automation.</span></li><li><span>Experience in embedded firmware development.</span></li><li><span>Capability to understand complex systems, easily hovering between detailed assessment and high-level overview.</span></li><li><span>Fluent in English language both oral and written to work in an international environment with colleagues around the world.</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing </span></li><li><span>Open to new ideas and have a creative attitude.</span></li><li><span>Taking initiative to spot and implement improvement.</span></li></ul><p><span>Strong problem-solving & analytical skills</span></p><p></p><p><a href="https://www.nxp.com/company/about-nxp/worldwide-locations/france:FRANCE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">More information about NXP in France...</a></p><p></p>#LI-6710
