Technical Intern

Interested in working in a job with opportunities for growth and advancement? We have an opening for a Technical Intern on-site. Applied Research Associates, Inc. (Emerald Coast Division) is looking for candidates to join our Software Development Team. This position is located at our Niceville, Florida office.

We are seeking a specialist in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) who can assist our development team in automating various aspects of our software process. This intern will work as a member of our Endgame Framework (EF) software architecture team and help improve the product and support our government customers.

Technical Intern Qualifications:

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Security Clearance.

Technical Intern Required Skills:

• Good writing and verbal presentation skills
• Must be able to work well with in an agile team environment and be able to adapt quickly to change.
• Knowledge of  C++ 

Additional consideration for:

• Understanding of AI / ML and application of LLMs to various analysis tools
• Understanding of mathematical and physics concepts
• Understanding of 3D geometric modeling/visualization
