Senior Credit & Collections Specialist

Overview

Pendo is looking for a Senior Credit & Collections Specialist who will support day-to-day operations, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to meet the company’s cash targets.  The ideal candidate will possess experience with fast-paced operations in the software or technology industry.  The position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Credit & Collections in Raleigh, NC.   

Role Responsibilities 

• Own a global portfolio of customer accounts, resolving customer disputes, sending collection emails, calling on delinquent customers, and assisting with account queries while delivering superior customer service
• Coordinate with third party collections agencies and legal support as necessary  Review and enforce contractual terms for customer payments
• Identify past due accounts for additional notification or disablement, as appropriate
• Maintain customer contact information
• Upload customer invoices to procurement or payment portals
• Process ACH payment batches and updating banking information as needed
• Complete ad hoc reporting, and support cross-functional project requests 
• Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications 

• Minimum of four (4) years of business to business credit and collections experience
• Exceptional customer service, risk assessment, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience with large enterprise or VIP customers
• Experience partnering with and supporting third party collection efforts
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce, Workday, Zendesk, Monday.com, YayPay
• Experience in bankruptcy filing impacts on customer accounts 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough understanding of credit and collections best practices globally
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced goal and deadline driven environment, with high volumes of transactions and customers

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected base salary range for this role in the following location is:

Raleigh, NC - USD $55,000 - $70,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
