Job Description
The Staff Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of duties involving requirements gathering, business relationship management, translating business needs into technical solutions, documenting flow, test scripts, and responsibility for configuration of a wide variety of SAP functions.
- Responsible for working with business partners, leading requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, system functional design, configuration, quality assurance testing, and documentation of S2P and P2P applications within NBCUniversal
- Responsible for effectively translating business requirements into technical solutions and working with product & engineering to leverage IT products and services
- Responsible for supporting projects and other duties as assigned, including collaboration with 3rd party resources from external service providers
- Documentation of Business Process flow and requirements document, Functional specifications Test scripts, UAT data preparations for enhancements and fixes
- Perform SAP configuration, setup, and updating of application, including table definitions and access control
- Responsible for developing strategy, business case, use cases and assisting in delivery of projects for P2P and IT partners
- Responsible for leading day-to-day business support for entire Procurement applications/environment, including enhancements, incidents, break-fix, system patching, outages, and upgrades
- Collaborate with business customers, internal IT teams, vendors, and 3rd party resources to effectively implement solutions and troubleshooting
- Conduct research and analysis on new and innovative solutions, releases, and enhancements and recommend to leadership for future consideration
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and metrics by utilizing information gathered from various data sources
- Being a liaison with procurement/sourcing/global finance end users of all levels to share best practices and ensure a positive user experience
- Specializes in the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of data for internal department planning and activities
- Coordinate & work with Offshore resources and UAT assistance
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience with P2P Technologies from IT departments, consulting firms, or similar industries (required)
- Experience with SAP Materials Management, Supplier Relationship Management, and Supply Chain Management (required)
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of P2P applications support and administration, including configuration, maintenance, and monitoring (required)
- Collaborative team player accustomed to working within and across groups
- Expert-level system troubleshooting experience, including MS Office tools, TIBCO, Acrobat, and DaaS OS and integration issues
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC 6.0/4.7 R/3 enterprise version, and SRM 7.04/7.0/5.0 versions (preferred)
- Experience with the Source-To-Pay industry and matter-centric environments (preferred)
- Experience with SOW modules, contract lifecycle management tools, and risk management is a plus
- Experience in projects to implement complex software solutions in a global, multi-company environment
- Strong communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to tailor communications for the intended audience
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to develop, mentor and train others on business processes, knowledge, and acumen across several functional areas
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a highly quantitative field of study, combined with relevant experience
Salary Range: $120,000 - 150,000
