Skyworks is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for its Digital Analog Solutions (DAS) Division in Andover, MA design center. If you are a motivated candidate with skills and interest in RF component testing, our Skyworks Andover, MA design center is looking for you! As a home to an elite team of top RF professionals you will work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills working on real products. Here we specialize in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- You will be a key member of product development engineering team with responsibility for RF SiP Test, Validation and Performance Optimization, Engineering down-selection, tuning, and characterization.
- Execute RF test plans to help prove device performance.
- Process data, prepare test reports, and optimize the performance of the product together with design engineering teams.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and running setup validation tests to guarantee Accuracy and Repeatability.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective problem solver, proactive process owner, and a self-starter.
- With your strength, the final product will have the winning performance and best in class datasheet.
- Understanding and implementing Global Wireless Standards is an essential asset in conducting the daily tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in RF component testing
- 5+ years of experience in high-performance mixed-signal IC lab characterization and testing
- Familiar with common programming languages such as LabView and python, and experience with databases such as SQL and MySQL
- Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
- Knowledgeable in RF Test. Testing includes s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, TOI, DEVM and harmonics to mention some.
- Knowledgeable in GPIB, IEEE 488.2, serial communications
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Operate independently with minimal supervision
