Job Description: 
ICF is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst.  In this role, you will work with project managers, product managers, technical architects, internal SMEs, and clients to help define and organize business and technical requirements for products supporting electrification and energy efficiency programs.  This involves interviewing stakeholders to help refine and maintain requirements and keep product documentation and artifacts up to date. In this role, you will also be responsible for creating task plans and monitoring task completion across multiple support teams. Candidates should be comfortable working on a software product development team following a Scrum development methodology. Candidates should be highly independent, driven to follow-up on tasks without prompting, and comfortable driving tasks through completion.

What you will be doing:

• Support meetings with stakeholders and prepare functional requirements documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories 
• Create stories and tasks in JIRA to support the execution of client deliverables 
• Work with and assist QA team to develop and implement test cases and acceptance criteria for releases 
• Support stakeholders through training, as well as one-on-one technical assistance  
• Support project delivery through task tracking and project management using project management tools. Create and maintain project task plans. Drive and monitor progress across internal support teams responsible for completing tasks 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

• Bachelor's in (math, engineering, science, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field) and
• 5+ years’ experience in a business analysis or related field 
• 3+ years' clearly defining and documenting business processes and software requirements 

What we would like you to have:

• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence highly desirable 
• Experience working in the energy industry on energy efficiency and/or beneficial electrification projects is highly desirable 
• Experience with customer discovery and product development 
• Balances and prioritizes multiple workstreams to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines  
• Works collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment 
• Participates in test script preparation and quality assurance activities 
• interest in Agile software development process and product ownership
