Senior Software Engineer

Dolby is a global leader in providing audio and imaging solutions that create spectacular experiences on a range of diverse hardware and software platforms. As such, Dolby technology is exposed to illegal use which includes, but is not limited to, software piracy and intellectual property (IP) thievery.

You will be part of a team responsible for creating solutions to protect Dolby’s IP and applying them in Dolby products. Acting as a software security expert you will be responsible for creating IP protection solutions from concept, through implementation to integration into products. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Contribute to threat modelling and IP protection designs for various Dolby products
• Implement, verify, and validate IP protection mechanisms 
• Work swiftly in embedded environment at the verge of operating system, applications and hardware

 

Required Education & Skills:

• Proficiency in C++, C and Python programming
• Good understanding of binary formats and their internals
• Good understanding of operating systems internals
• Solid handling of disassemblers/decompilers, debuggers, emulators, virtual machines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Passionate about SW/HW security

 

Nice to have:

• Experience with Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) and Trusted Applications development (TA)
• Good understanding of applied cryptography
• Experience in SW reverse engineering
• Familiarity with SW exploitation and mitigation techniques 
• Familiarity with git, cmake, CI/CD
