Providing essential services to field staff and volunteers. Offering this support frees field staff for direct ministry with kids, optimizes financial contributions, and ensures careful stewardship of the mission's assets (both tangible and intangible).

Essential Duties:
- Train staff and volunteers on Young Life Purchase Card (P Card) policies and procedures as well as Young Life Accounting/Finance policies and procedures.
- Assist with P Card and Workday administrative duties. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Add, change, and delete all suppliers within the Accounts Payable application of Workday
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) match – verifying the tax ID number is correct via the IRS TIN Match system
- Set up all new cardholders in the Works system to include:
- Verification of background check
- Verification of Faith and Conduct
- Verification of Financial Principles Training
- Ordering and issuing of P Card
- P Card suspensions
- Distribute and answer a variety of emails sent to P Card inbox to appropriate AP team member
- Manage routine maintenance as needed on the following but not limited to:
- Process monthly report of Cards Not Used in 13 Months
- Process monthly report of Cardholders that have Expired Requirements
- Process monthly report of Inactive Users with Active P Cards
- Liaison between cardholder and Bank of America to resolve user issues as necessary
- Assist in the processing of yearend 1099 reporting to the IRS (e.g., contracted services, prizes, gifts, etc.).
- Assisting with returned 1099’s for correction and re-mailing
- Assisting in answering 1099 related calls
- Other duties as assigned

Education:
- Minimum of a high school education
- Business courses preferred
Experience Required For The Job:
- Proven ability in basic bookkeeping skills
- Customer service experience is a must
- Ability to transitioning between tasks while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
- Performs tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Preferred Purchase Card experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills in Excel
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills (phone skills)
- Must be a team player
- Must have data entry skills
Job Specific Working Conditions:
The anticipated hourly rate for this position can range from $16.69-$20.89 depending on relevant education, experience and location.
