Business Development Analyst

C³EL is seeking a team-oriented, highly organized, and proactive individual to provide a full range of administrative support to the Sales team.
The role of the Business Development Analyst reports directly to the Strategic Growth Director and will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, enhancing our market position, and contributing to our overall growth strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a balance of technical and administrative skills relating to federal and DoD communications. Primary duties include administrative opportunity identification and tracking, managing engineering input, and writing/developing statements of work in response to client requests for quotes. The Business Development Analyst works directly with clients, vendors, and various departments within the company, so excellent customer relations skills are a must.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Writing: Crafting clear, persuasive, and compliant content for quotes, including executive summaries, technical descriptions, and the approach to managing the project.
- Coordination: Managing the quote development process, which involves scheduling meetings, coordinating inputs from various team members (such as subject matter experts and financial analysts), ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining version control of quote documents.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Checking that the quote meets all the solicitation requirements and adhering to internal standards for quality and presentation.
- Document Management: Organizing, formatting, and editing quote documents to ensure they are well-presented and coherent.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the defense contracting sector.
- Utilize opportunity management solutions (e.g., GovWin, Govly) to track and manage potential contracts, RFPs, and government procurement notices.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. (Military or relevant technical training and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- Minimum of 3 years of industry related experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the defense contracting process, including RFPs, procurement cycles, and government regulations.
- Proven expertise in using opportunity management solutions such as GovWin, Govly, and similar platforms.
- Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office suite tools.
- Attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of the quote comply with solicitation requirements and company standards.
Desired Skills and Experience.
- Experience in DoD
- Experience in AV, Broadcast, Videoconferencing, IT, and/or Network sales preferred – will consider strong quote writing experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
