Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a QA Policy & Strategy Analyst to support the Department of War (DoW) Chief Information Officer (CIO). Come Join our growing team today!

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized QA Policy & Strategy Analyst to support spectrum band studies through comprehensive paperwork preparation, documentation management, and administrative coordination.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Format, review (editorial), and maintain documentation related to spectrum band studies and policy analysis.
  • Organize and track technical reports, study materials, meeting notes, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate internal and external correspondence, including document submissions and records management.
  • Support preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and summary reports.
  • Maintain version control and document archives to ensure audit readiness.
  • Verify accuracy of data entries, references, and formatting in study materials.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies and escalate findings appropriately.
  • Assist policy and technical analysts in compiling research materials related to spectrum allocation and band studies.
  • Support cross-functional coordination between the executive, engineering, and policy teams.
  • Additional duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player willing and eager to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance. 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience supporting technical or regulatory teams (internship or academic projects acceptable).
  • Interest or experience in telecommunications policy, spectrum management, or regulatory affairs.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
