Position: Production I
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Shift: Rotating shift (days/nights, 10-12 hours per shift)
Pay: $31.58/hour

Summary:
Helps the Console Operator by monitoring the process equipment and keeping material streams and fuels moving to the kiln. Help with Production activities as defined by Production Superintendent
What you’ll be contributing:
- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Load CKD customer trucks and generate appropriate paperwork.
- Operate and maintain all CKD loading equipment. Be able to pug CKD and transport it to the CKD landfill. Operate and maintain all CKD pugging/mixing equipment.
- Keep CKD silo area clean.
- Operate haul trucks, Caterpillar 771 and Komatsu HM-400. Operate tire mule.
- Change PAC bags on the activated carbon system. Operate and troubleshoot basic issues with PAC system.
- Oversee the unloading of ammonia and activated carbon from bulk trucks into our tanks. Unload activated carbon bags and place in storage
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- High school graduation or equivalent is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in related manufacturing is preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively use and operate a shovel, broom, chipping hammer, walk-behind skidsteer, concrete saw, loader, motorized sweeper, brick saw, water hose, air hose, sledgehammer, air lance and other mobile equipment as assigned while performing job duties. Ability to read and understand warning labels, instructions and signs.
- Work involves walking over rough surfaces, climbing 20-foot ladders, climbing stairs, bending pushing, pulling, working in an awkward position and in confined spaces, and lifting materials weighting up to 50 pounds.
