We're looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of the group, you'll be responsible for:

• Be a part of a startup team in the company, working on creating a new product.
• Engage in the development of state-of-the-art Gen AI technology.
• Design and implement traffic forwarding and processing capabilities that can handle large volumes of data efficiently.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 

• 8+ years experience in backend development with experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and data forwarding solutions in high-volume environments.
• Proficient in Java and Golang
• Experience with utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to enhance development efficiency and application scalability.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, adept in applying various design patterns and proficient with multiple database technologies including SQL and document-based systems.
• Experienced in integrating data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, with a thorough understanding of data serialization and deserialization techniques.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of version control using Git, with a proven ability to solve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as React or Angular, to bridge the gap between backend services and user interfaces.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to leverage cloud-native technologies in application deployment and scaling.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development cycles and enhance code quality.
• Understanding of advanced security practices and compliance standards, to fortify applications against evolving security threats.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash, to automate routine tasks and support complex deployment strategies.

 

This role is preferred to sit out of our San Jose, CA office (hybrid environment) but the team is also open to remote options.
