Join us! The GoFundMe team is looking for a senior Technical Program Management professional to facilitate the coordination and execution of technical operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and engineering leadership to ensure successful completion of cross team technical initiatives and implementation of technical processes. You will be responsible for driving the technical requirements and adoption of the GoFundMe platform in order to deliver more help to people on GoFundMe.com and through our partners.

The Job…

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, high-quality technical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal product, design, and engineering partners to define and prioritize technical integrations of GoFundMe’s platform.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business and partner requirements and align them with technical capabilities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on technical processes, providing documentation, white papers, presentations, implementation guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain senior stakeholder relationships across internal partners to ensure needs are synthesized, prioritized and reduce friction to adoption.
  • Partner with design, product management, and engineering development teams to assess technical feasibility of potential opportunities.
  • Own project management and implementation of key technical initiatives and coordinate the management of existing relationships across the organization
  • Partner across the broader organization to ensure we have the right promotional and customer support infrastructure in place to promote and support integrated solutions with our partners.  
  • Be able to effectively educate and evangelize the opportunities for the GoFundMe platform in key technical and business forums to drive adoption and momentum.

You…

  • 10+ years of combined experience in product engineering, technical evangelism, and  product management.
  • Experience working with internal partners and managing technical integrations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Familiarity working in the full stack front-end, frameworks, development languages, and database systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Passion for social impact and a strong commitment to GoFundMe’s mission.
