Responsibilities
The Director of Clinical Informatics at Community Memorial Healthcare will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the clinical informatics team. This role will work in collaboration with the Director of Applications to ensure that the organization's clinical information systems are designed, developed, implemented, and maintained in a way that meets the needs of patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders. The Director of Clinical Informatics will work closely with stakeholders to drive the adoption and effective use of clinical information systems to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. The Director of Clinical Informatics will also play a key role in measuring the success of clinical workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and measure effectiveness through the development of metrics. This role will develop holistic vision for the organization's goals related to clinical informatics and prioritize work accordingly. Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, health informatics, or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and processes
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical decision support tools
- Ability to lead and manage projects, teams, and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Master's degree in nursing, health informatics,
