Quality Assurance/ Medical Records-IN OFFICE Medical Chart Reviewer

Central Coast Home Health is a locally owned, fast-growing organization with a great reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are seeking a full-time entry level medical chart reviewer to join our Quality Assurance team in the San Luis Obispo office. NOT REMOTE

Work schedule is Full time, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM in our San Luis Obispo office. **NOT REMOTE** 

The essential duties of this position will be the reviewing various communications for Home Health patients, including doctor's orders, visit notes and other clinical communications.  This is a fast-paced position requiring increasingly high attention to detail and thoroughness for all documentation being handled.  This person will need to be able to retrieve documentation and details on a regular basis with some distraction, as well as taking on additional duties as needed in order to keep a team environment.

Knowledge/Abilities:

- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, be detailed oriented and stay on task

- Good organizational, data entry and critical thinking skills

- Experience in MS Office, Adobe and Internet Explorer

- Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures

Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma or the equivalent

- Experience in MS Office, Adobe and Internet Explorer

- Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures
