The Role at a Glance

As a Sr. Consultant, Intake and Planning, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for Workplace Solutions Data Analytics and Reporting team. This role will support the Retirement Plan Services business by defining complex projects and/or programs based on a business need through research and analysis. The results and findings of the discovery/proposal process will be the basis for the future project.

What you'll be doing

  • Stay current on emerging trends and collaborate with senior leaders to incorporate insights into current and future solutions.
  • Lead discovery and intake efforts by analyzing requests, clarifying business needs, and validating solution viability.
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to clarify project objectives, scope, data needs, risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Evaluate new project requests for feasibility, alignment to strategic priorities, resource requirements, and timeline impacts.
  • Facilitate intake meetings, discovery sessions, and requirement‑gathering workshops with cross‑functional teams.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and direction on complex initiatives, projects, and alternative solutions.
  • Translate high‑level business needs into structured project requirements, intake documentation, and recommended next steps.
  • Develop and maintain an intake pipeline and portfolio view for visibility into active, pending, and future data initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements and support change management initiatives across teams and the broader organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with management and stakeholders on complex issues and enterprise-wide impacts.
  • Manage the appropriate documentation for aligned with the data governance framework.

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves:

  • 5 – 7+ Years of experience in Project Management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position 
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) 

 

Nice-to-haves:

  • Strong project management, problem-solving, analytical, and requirements-gathering capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured technical or operational requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for facilitating intake sessions, stakeholder management, expectation setting, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing demands.

The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $176,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work
