About the Role
Our Customer function is inherently customer obsessed and is accountable for providing a remarkable customer experience that is critical to the growth of the business.  As part of this team, Compliance has customer protection at its core and ensures we keep our customer focus by always doing what is right for our customers.  
InDebted is currently seeking a Director of Compliance for our U.S. operations. This key leadership role encompasses comprehensive management of Risk & Compliance, aligning with InDebted’s strategic vision and operational excellence.

The Director of Compliance, U.S. at InDebted, will have the following responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the comprehensive Risk & Compliance function in the United States for InDebted.
• Guarantee the implementation and maintenance of all necessary risk & compliance frameworks for our scalable operations.
• Assure that the organization strictly adheres to compliance principles.
• Strategically design, document, and implement frameworks to fill identifiable gaps.
• Develop, implement, document, and manage controls within the InDebted business that identify, monitor, test, and report risks.
• Understand, identify, and manage risks across all facets of the InDebted US business.
• Ensure that InDebted complies with all pertinent legislation and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Growth team to manage client RFI & RFP processes related to risk & compliance issues.
• Support the Product team by ensuring new features comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Launch GenAI initiatives to increase the efficiency and productivity of the compliance department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in building Risk and Compliance frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of risk & compliance legislation, particularly related to financial institutions.
• Profound understanding of business processes and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to document and analyze business information and metrics.
• Unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Proven skills in business partnering and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information understandably and engagingly.
• Experience in Technology fields or digital marketing a plus.
