As a forward-thinking Strategic Financial Analyst at Achieve, your contributions to the company's financial strategies will be invaluable. With your expertise in financial modeling, cash management and capital markets you will serve as a pivotal thought partner, not just within the strategic finance team but across the entire organization, supporting a range of significant strategic initiatives. Since 2002, Achieve has grown into one of the largest private consumer fintech unicorns in the U.S., with over $40B in enrollments for our industry-leading, tech-enabled debt resolution services business, and over $11Bn in personal and home loans originations via our banking-as-a-service partners. Our complimentary lending solutions are supported by a proven capital markets platform with 26 ABS deals totaling over $6.3Bn.

The finance team at Achieve is instrumental in sculpting the company's long-term business strategies and execution plans. Through a commitment to financial visibility, accountability, and the cultivation of strong cross-company relationships, the team ensures the company's growth strategies are both ambitious and grounded in solid data analysis.

At Achieve, the finance team parachutes into key strategic business priorities and partners side-by-side with cross-functional teams to provide deep financial analysis and modeling, thought leadership and guidance, and turning discussions & white board sessions into quantitative analysis - all through the lens of finance and strategy. In this position, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute against strategic initiatives. You will contribute to deal analytics, support corporate finance activities, drive daily treasury operations, and strategic projects across the enterprise. This role will deliver important insights and actionable recommendations to senior finance and executive management. A successful candidate will ensure financial, operating, and cash management decisions are based on accurate data and apply expertise to inform the overall strategy. This position will exemplify true business partnership, leading the way with collaboration, timely decision-making, alignment with strategic priorities, and value-added analysis.

What You’ll Do:

• Financial Modeling Initiatives: Help develop and enhance complex financial models to support strategic decision-making across the enterprise as well as on company metrics and liquidity. Focus on pricing & sales optimization, credit & risk management, and new product & growth initiatives to drive profitability and efficiency. Leverage a robust understanding of financial statements to help build and maintain financial models and forecasts, as Achieve develops funding and growth strategies.
• Strategic Finance Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive dynamic, revenue-generating projects. Utilize financial modeling to analyze opportunities and present actionable insights to senior finance and executive management.
• Market Trends Analysis: Keep Achieve at the forefront of personal finance by continuously monitoring market trends. Use your insights to align our product and platform within the competitive landscape through rigorous financial analysis.
• Decision Support: Support strategic decision-making by designing, maintaining, and enhancing advanced financial models in Excel. Craft comprehensive investment memos, deal committee materials, and other documentation to support informed decisions on corporate strategy.
• Cash Management: Help manage the company’s daily cash position. Initiate wires related to funding and cash management activity. Track activity and support proper accounting for these transactions. Build, update and maintain cash forecasting models and reporti
