Equipment Manager

Description

Pivot Excavation is currently hiring a full-time equipment manager to work YEAR-ROUND. This is a lead position that will include a company vehicle. The candidate must have experience with Equipment. Though we are based out of Draper, most of our work is in Utah County. We primarily work on large development, and commercial jobs. Pay will be based off experience. Applicants must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and have valid driver’s license. Career advancement may also be available for dedicated employees. 

• Oversee daily, weekly, and scheduled maintenance of all heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, trucks, trailers, etc.).
• Track equipment hours, service intervals, and repairs using maintenance logs or software.
• Coordinate with mechanics or service vendors for diagnostics and major repairs.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper function and compliance with regulations.
• Manage inventory of tools and parts.
• Recommend equipment purchases, rentals, or replacements based on usage and condition.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction equipment management.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or maintenance tracking software).
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
