Summary

The Production Operations Technology Manager is responsible for leading our internal operational technology tools to improve the efficiency of our operations teams. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, operational knowledge, and tactical production control. The Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including IT infrastructure, Engineering, and Sales, to identify challenges, develop solutions, and execute plans that enhance operational efficiency. This position also includes overseeing the day-to-day tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals related to delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee internal tools supporting global operations teams.
• Develop and implement the product roadmap for Operations Technology.
• Manage tactical production control, including planning, scheduling, and material flow.
• Allocate and control resources and materials effectively, establishing monitoring tools and processes for efficiency.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in production technology and processes.
• Lead and manage a team, ensuring project milestones are met and budgets are adhered to.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in product management, 5+ years in operations management, and 3+ years in a managerial role.

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb. In addition, requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to noise and be required to wear hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
