Position Summary
On Behalf of CNS Cares, The Director of Human Resources is responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing HR strategies to align with business objectives, fostering a healthy workplace environment; ensuring legal compliance; serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, including team member relations, disciplinary action, policies, and procedures; formulate partnerships across the Company to deliver value-added service to management and Team Members that reflects the business objectives of the Company.
Essential Functions
Team Member must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company, have exceptional customer service, and conduct one-self with utmost integrity and ethical accountability. Other assigned duties include:
- Conducts or attends weekly or bi-weekly meetings with assigned programs and program leadership.
- Consults with program supervisors and management, providing human resource (“HR”) guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with other representatives of the Company’s HR department to develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Team Members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors and management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Oversee and manage performance appraisal systems to provide timely feedback and improve performance outcomes
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
- Provides guidance and input on organizational restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Manages systems related to personnel records and has the responsibility of maintaining those records as required by federal and/or state law or regulation, as well as by Company policy.
- Responsible for the review of job descriptions to ensure they meet state, federal and Company requirements.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Manage the organization’s compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness
- Conducts HR related training for individuals and groups as needed.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Supports and manages the ongoing development and improvement of the Human Resources Information/Management System.
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Provides training and support to HR team.
- Assist the CHRO in complex projects, as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has direct supervisory responsibility over the HR Business Partner team and other general HR team members.
Requirements
Qualifications; Education/Training
Required:
- Proven experience with increasing responsibilities as an HR manager or other HR executive·
- People oriented and Results driven
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases· Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills·
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience and/or training.
Preferred:
- Prior Human Resources Management experience
- Human Resources Certification/s completed or started
