Principal Research Scientist III, S2

Purpose of the Position:

The Principal Research Scientist III will perform funded research. The incumbent will also serve as the IT and cybersecurity SME for SAP and SCI programs at PEO M&S.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform funded research
• Serve as the IT and cybersecurity SME for SAP and SCI programs at PEO M&S
• Ensure IT and cybersecurity best practices are followed by providing technical guidance, managing audits and supporting security inspections
• Implement and execute RMF cybersecurity controls to protect SAP and SCI-level information systems and data

Minimum Requirements:

• Ph.D. with 30 - 36 months (2.5 - 3 years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 10+ years information systems security experience. 2+ years cybersecurity support of PEO M&S
• US citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Ph.D. with 36+ months (3+ years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 12+ years information systems security experience
• 3+ years cybersecurity support of PEO M&S. RMF for DoD

$130,255 - $135,000
