Our Founder and CEO is a successful entrepreneur who previously co-founded a green energy supplier. We have robust pipelines of BESS projects across the UK, Italy, Spain, and Germany - and strong financial backing. Our latest fundraise was a £200 million investment from DIF Capital Partners. This will support our mission to grow internationally, and ultimately to build and develop a robust global BESS portfolio.  <br/>We are an eclectic team with varied backgrounds. Our team has experience scaling billion dollar tech start-ups and building energy companies, as well as deep specialisms in the energy markets. You will learn from and work with a bunch of fun, curious, and entrepreneurial people who really want to make an impact. Together, we will show that batteries are a totally viable part of our energy infrastructure - <strong><em>now</em></strong>, not in some distant future. We have ambitious plans to become the defining new clean energy player in Europe over the next few years, gradually expanding beyond batteries into new asset types.<br/><br/><strong>Overview</strong> <br/>Field’s Italian office in Rome is looking for a project manager - permitting to work side-by-side with the Lead of Project Development of Field Italia to manage the authorisation process for battery storage assets in Italy.  You’ll join a team that is strongly committed to making a difference in developing, financing, building and operating the assets we need to protect our climate and the environment.<br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><strong>The role</strong> <strong><br/></strong>The project manager is a crucial and varied role with the opportunity to have a massive impact. We are growing rapidly and so will your responsibilities, so this is not an exhaustive list. There will always be room to learn.<br/>Key responsibilities include, especially in the near term:<ul> <li>Project manage all environmental and civil engineering aspects related to the development our battery storage projects in Italy</li> <li>Be responsible for the preparation and update of the project plan, in particular staying on top of timelines and ensure that delays are avoided while quality of the project kept to best in class, with the ultimate objective of bringing our battery storage projects to ready to build status as quickly as possible and with high quality in the project that will be approved, keeping costs under control throughout the process</li> <li>Manage and monitor the entire authorization process for our  battery storage projects and the related infrastructures for connection to the grid / RTN</li> <li>Review all the technical and administrative documents prepared by the consultants, necessary for obtaining authorizations for Field’s BESS projects in Italy</li> <li>Manage the permitting process (autorizzazione unica ministeriale e regionale), in particular in setting up the documentation, manage the communications with the ministry and regions / local authorities and prepare additional integrations in due course</li> <li>Manage relationships with local and central authorities (Ministries, Regions, Provinces, Municipalities) for the issue of AU / Sole authorization and PAS / simplified authorization permit with participation in the so called “town hall meeting” if required</li> <li>Coordinate external stakeholders and partners that will produce the documents necessary to obtain the above mentioned authorisations</li> <li>Collaborate with third-party advisors (technical, legal) during the course of the activities</li> <li>Active role in developing with colleagues of preliminary design solutions for the specific site with specific focus on mitigation and environmental compensatory measures</li> </ul><br/>Work in close coordination with the UK team, to ensure consistency across the group wherever technically possible.<br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3> <strong>A bit about you<br/></strong><br/> <ul> <li>you’re an open, clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively</li> <li>you demonstrate great attention to detail - your drafting is plain and precise, embedding well through commercial principles </li> <li>you’re very organised - you’ll be spinning a few plates at once, so you’ll need to have tried and tested methods for keeping on top of a varied workload at your fingertips</li> <li>you’re excellent at building working relationships - we are business partners and need to work closely with all teams</li> </ul><br/><strong>Experience and skills we look for:</strong><br/><ul> <li>degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Landscape Archi
