HVAC Designer / Estimator

Dynaire is seeking an experienced HVAC Sales / Estimator Engineer to join our growing company!  This is a full-time permanent position with an excellent benefit package- Salary is up to $90K Per year DOE, + excellent benefits and amazing Bonus / Commission structure! 

Responsibilities:

• Apply HVAC engineering ability to visit sites of new and existing customers and design HVAC systems to facilitate the installation of new systems and/or replacement equipment.
• Prepare estimate and sales presentation to ultimately consummate sales.
• Independently review plans and specs of HVAC projects, prepare cost estimates, prepare sales presentation, and finalize sales.
• Maintain effective oral and written communication with customers, engineers, distributors and contractors.
• Establish strategies for generating new accounts and maintaining existing accounts.
• Prepare accurate and complete written sales proposals.
• Help facilitate post-sale of service and maintenance contracts.
• Educating prospective customers on products and services.
• Continually calling and maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
• Follow-up on existing sales bids and leads.
• Seek out new areas of opportunity.
• Work with inside sales and other team members to satisfy customer needs.
• Properly turn over bid documents and associated documentation to Construction Department at time of award.
• Maintain accurate reporting of scheduling, call reports, expenses, account targeting, etc.

Qualifications

• **Must have previous HVAC Design / Estimating / Sales experience. ** 
• **Must have experience using Autocad / Revit in designing Commercial / Industrial / Residential HVAC systems.**
• Customer Service experience and sales experience.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning and heating systems.
• Must be self-directed and display strong initiative to complete goals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• PC skills and working knowledge Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of social media marketing and advertising.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing. 
• Ability to commute to Mineola, NY on a weekly basis.
