Job Description:
Innovation - Partnerships Coordinator is a key member of the strategic partnerships team and responsible for supporting partnerships between Advocate Health and industry partners by organizing, coordinating, and engaging in the related relationships, deliverables, and operations. Candidate engages with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings, organize workstreams, support project management, and help shape the relationships to achieve the goals. Innovation and Partnerships Coordinator is also tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners and serves as an important representative of the organization. Successful candidate will need to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and be comfortable with certain degree of ambiguity. Candidate must have excellent communication, relationship building, diplomacy, and organizational skills, as well as be a team player who can successfully work independently and as part of a group. While role can be a hybrid remote/in person, position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina and candidate must be onsite for meetings, events, and other engagements.
Essential Functions:
- Organizes, prepares for, and coordinates events such as remote and on-site partnership meetings, sprint events, site tours, working sessions, governance meetings, and other gatherings
- Maintains accurate records of partnership activity, including partnership leads, contact information, and other pertinent details
- Engages in meetings, summarizes and reports on key discussions and determinations, and provides proposed execution timelines for deliverables
- Manages internal documents to record and track partner value workstreams details and progress and provides periodic status reports
- Develops relationships with existing partners to support seamless and successful working relationships, including maintaining regular communication
- Works in close coordination with counterparts both at partner entity and within Advocate Health
- Concurrently manage multiple people, organizations, and projects across work highly complex and matrixed environments
- Researches, reviews, and compiles key findings reports, status reports, and communication materials for the partnership team
- Provides key administrative support to the partnerships team and individuals, including coordination of travel to events and conferences, scheduling of meetings, and supporting resources management
- Manages expenses for innovation and partnerships programs, events, and other initiatives, including drafting of expense budgets
- Supports all members of the partnership team as needed and performs other activities that support the success of the partnership
- Support on-site meetings in Charlotte, North Carolina for larger Innovation & Commercialization team, including for the Chief Innovation & Commercialization Officer Be resourceful, creative, and adaptive
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred or experience equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in administrative support role required
- At least 2 years of experience working with outside entities and partners strongly preferred
- At least 3 years in a health care related field preferred
- Must have experience managing expenses and large, complex meetings
- Strong mastery of Microsoft Office suite, scheduling, and expense management required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Excellent organizational and logistic skills required
- Excellent intrapersonal and relationship building skills required
