Production Assistant

Scentsy is looking for a Production Assistant to assist with video and photo production as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Assist set designer, producer, videographer, photographer, and editor with various tasks during the video/photo production process
• Run various errands for video/photo department
• Help producer and set designer in pre-production organization for shoots 
• Assist the production coordinator in pulling and inventorying all Scentsy products in studio before, during, and after shoots
• Assist videographer/photographer on set with lighting, grip, cable wrangling, battery swaps, etc. 
• Teardown and cleanup of set/studio after each shoot
• Actively assist producer, set designer, photographer, and videographer with any needs during the shoot (craft services, clean up, running errands, etc.) 
• Work as Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) on set, managing transfer and organization of photo and video assets
• Help run Capture One software during photo shoots
• File and organize talent release forms, talent files, and other production documents
• Assist set designers in prop organization
• Assist in maintaining photo and video equipment (storage and maintenance requests handling), as well as the photo and video studio - including cleaning, organizing, and battery charging
• Assist set designer with building small set pieces (i.e. dioramas or backdrops) 
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Digital Filmmaking, Photography, Communications, Design, or related field 
• Experience working in the marketing industry with video and photo production preferred 
• Knowledge and ability to help with both planning and technical aspects of a shoot 
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of photo and video production
• Knowledge of basic camera equipment
• Ability and desire to jump in and help whenever and wherever needed 
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Knowledge of lighting and audio a plus
