Urgent Care (RN) Registered Nurse | PRN - Evenings

Description

Schedule: Weekdays/ Evening Shifts 3pm-11pm (PRN)

 The Registered Nurse prescribes nursing care, delegates nursing activities, and coordinates the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to provide optimal quality care, consistent with the health care system’s mission and, nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards.  Has full access to patient health information.  

Location: Mooresville Urgent Care

Requirements

•  Current Registered Nurse licensure in N.C.
• At least three years related medical office experience, including some supervisory experience preferred.
• Certification in basic CPR.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and all office equipment.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, practice computer systems and software, insurance, medical/legal issues relevant to the practice, accounts receivable management, bookkeeping, and coding.
• Ability to train others in essential medical office functions.
• Ability to make decisions independently and to resolve problems/conflicts in an effective manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation, which includes age and population specific skills for the areas of practice in which The RN will be working and addresses the growth and development needs for the patients to whom the RN will be providing nursing care.
