DESCRIPTION:
The Procurement Analyst III is responsible for maintaining audit files with required documents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute program tasking as requested by the Procurement Lead
- Enter and track procurements in the corporate purchasing system and designated material trackers
- Reconcile p-card transactions monthly and interface with suppliers, customers, and requesters to manage project timelines and meet test support requirements
- Track delivery dates of procured items and provides updates to the customer accordingly
- Develop Excel spreadsheets to support the Procurement Lead and project Leads in analyzing data and milestone information
- Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies for the organization
- Solve standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment, and precedents
- Explain information to others in straightforward situations
- Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
- Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Work within broad guidelines and policies and explain complex, difficult, and sensitive information while working to build consensus
- Take direction from the Procurement Team Lead
- Mentor and direct subordinate Procurement Team staff

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in relevant discipline
- 5 years relevant position-specific experience
- Ability to work independently and in an agile, collaborative team environment
- Active US Government Clearance at Secret level or higher
- Effective written and verbal communications skills for collaboration with both customers and fellow team members
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and regularly lift at least 25 pounds
- Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as required
DESIRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Event Management/Hospitality Management/Marketing or related field
- Experience leading large DoD procurement activities
