Overview
As an Associate on the US Custody Team, you will be responsible for trade settlement and payment transactions for various clients at Deutsche Bank. You will have the opportunity to work closely with internal front office partners as well as other business units to help bring projects forward. You will interact with various security depositories to help support access to US security transactions for global clients.

What You’ll Do
Accountable for managing the end-to-end clearing and settlement process
Ensure smooth and timely market settlement of securities and cash transfers between the Bank and its counterparty via Swift messages and wire payments
Interact with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, nostro agents, exchanges, and clearing houses) involved in the clearing and settlement process chain, according to the market standards
Responsible for settlement date processes (pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, depot and inventory management, funding, and settlement monitoring) and post-settlement date processes (break management, billing)
Interact with external and internal IT vendors to coordinate tasks related to projects such as new technology deployment, industry changes, and systems automation
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
Detail oriented
Swift and US settlement market knowledge (Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and the US Federal Reserve (Fed)), Strong time management skills
Ability to work well within a team and independent projects as needed
Microsoft excel knowledge, project and testing experience and Experience with external vendors
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Self-motivated

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $48,000.00 to $68,800.000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
