About the role
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Salesforce implementations.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage end-to-end Salesforce projects, including implementation, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and administrators.
- Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project to minimize impact.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track project expenses and report on budget performance to stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and testing to validate project outcomes.
- Implement best practices for Salesforce development and project management.
- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new Salesforce solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, and status reports.
- Ensure all project artifacts are properly archived for future reference.
- PMP, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex Salesforce projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Asana.
- Knowledge of Salesforce integrations with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
