About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for continuing to ensure the Finance Business Partnering role meets the evolving needs of the senior business stakeholders, leading and supporting financial management processes and outcomes, including funding, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and contributing to key financial and operaitonal decision making.. ​

Working as a trusted financial advisor the Senior Finance Business partner will work with the business to operationalise insights and recommendations and provide Management Accounting (MA) and Finance, Strategy and Optimisation (FSO) with key insights, requirements and commentary to add depth to analysis and modelling activities.

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree qualification in related field; Membership of recognised professional accounting association (at member level); and significant relevant skills, knowledge and experience
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to collect and analyse information, identify variations, problem solve and make decisions and demonstrated experience translating insights into implementable recommendations
  • High-level stakeholder engagements skills, building trusted partnerships to optimise business outcomes
  • Meet the focus capabilities for the role set out in the Role Description
  • A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)
