JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse (RN)
SHIFT: .7 FTE, 60 Hours Bi-Weekly, Five (5) 12-hour shifts, evenings/nights, weekend requirement.
BENEFITS: This is a Part time, benefit eligible position.

JOB SUMMARY
The Charge Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for supervising/providing patient care, supervising daily operational aspects of the department, and is the first level of administration assigned to unit assisting the Director in the achievement of the service goals and objectives. The Charge Nurse functions in the role of expert clinical practices, education, consultant, researcher and leader. Incorporated within these functions are those of role model, patient advocate, change agent and cost-effective practitioner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, BSN preferred.
- Current RN license in the State of Indiana.
- Current CPR or CPR certification within 1 months from date of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year in supervisor/management role preferred.
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course within 1 year from date of hire.
- ACLS/PALS certification within 1 year from date of hire (prerequisite is a Basic Arrhythmia course).
