Customer Support Specialist, Arendal

<p>We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and service minded person to join the Customer Support Team in Arendal, Norway.</p> <p>As a member of the team you will work with colleagues and customers around the world.</p> <p>Your main responsibility will be to handle Marine non-lead claims and together with the team deliver high quality service to Gard’s claims handlers and external customers as part of Gard’s marine insurance activities worldwide.</p> <p><strong>You will be a key member of a vibrant and international team where your primary focus will be:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process and handle Marine non-lead Claims</li> <li>Claims payments and related transactions</li> <li>A continuous focus on improving our services and practices</li> <li>Responding to customer queries</li> <li>Other claims related tasks</li> </ul> <p><strong>SKILLS &amp; REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and/or relevant experience</li> <li>General accounting knowledge</li> <li>A structured approach to work, with strong attention to details</li> <li>Can work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven</li> <li>Is ICT literate with a digital mindset and quick to learn systems and procedures</li> <li>Keen to build cross-functional competence and highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge.</li> <li>Self-motivated and a team player with an improvement mindset</li> <li>Has strong communication skills and cultural awareness</li> <li>A good command of spoken and written English is required</li> </ul> <p>We perform background checks on all relevant candidates through our <a href="https://www.ey.com/en_in/insights/forensic-integrity-services/seamless-onboarding-a-step-by-step-guide-to-employee-background-checks" target="_blank">partner EY</a></p>
