About the role
Description:Our Customer Care Coordinator supports Mativ’s Sustainability & Adhesives Solutions function. This individual will be the liaise between the customer, sales and operations to ensure that customer orders are entered in a timely fashion and accurately. It is our responsibility to work with the other inside teams of the organization to ensure that orders ship as promised. We are the front line. We are the first communication with the customer on the inside of the Scapa Organization, so our impression is the first impression to the customer on the inside. The location of the role is in Windsor, CT and reports to the Customer Service Manager.responsibilities:
- Receives customer's requests by telephone or email, analyzes requests, provides information requested or ascertains who can best provide the information and routes the request to the proper person.
- Enter orders into computer.
- Expedites orders through the various areas of manufacturing, and maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
- Resolves customer questions related to orders. Responds to customers' requests via telephone or email.
- Notifies customers and sales force of changes in customer deliveries.
- Communicates with other Scapa sites to receive information about order status.
- Prepares export documentation paperwork and schedules freight for international shipments.
- Documents customer complaints into the Intranet Complaint System (ICS), including root cause analysis and corrective actions, as required.
- Obtains authorization for credits due to customer and performs the SAP transactions.
- Performs arithmetic computations accurately, and operates 10-key calculator for computing number of square feet, square yards or msi per order.
- Helps with price quotes.
- Analyzes transactions, corrects records, invoices shipments and adjusts errors, as needed.
- Remains current on changes in policies, procedures, minimum orders and pricing.
- High School Diploma required.
- This job requires 2+ years of customer service.
- Computer software experience: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook(email).
- Demonstrated ability and accuracy with basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Passionate about providing extraordinary service.
- Able to Multi Task and prioritize.
- Good Time Management & Organizational Skills
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to adapt to changing communication and system technologies.
- CRM database experience
- Computer software experience: SAP
- Has knowledge of product line, prices, lead times, drop ship items, warehouse procedures, and similar data for all sites as required.
