Qualifications:

  • West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of elementary and/or middle school cirriculum, with emphasis on reading and/or math intervention
  • Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process
  • Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
  • The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Additional Minimum Requirements:
    • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
    • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
    • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
    • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Employment contingent on student enrollment.  Location of program subject to change based upon student enrollment.  Position may be cancelled during program dates dependent on student enrollment.

Start Date: 2026 -2027 School Year 
Salary: $37.50 per hour for ten (10) hours per week for a maximum of twenty-five (25) weeks, said salary shall not exceed $9,375.00 - paid through 21st CCLC grant funds.

Co-applicants may be accepted, but such must be acknowledged on the application and an agreement by the co-applicants to split the salary must also be provided.
