Requirements
- Senior Software Engineer/Architect to work on-site at a facility in College Park, Maryland supporting the military.
- Leverage commercial approaches and techniques for software architecture and software development, modernization, and refactoring to enable significant acceleration in delivering new warfighting capability to the Navy's AEGIS Fleet.
- Evolve the government furnished development and production platform as a service for increased cybersecurity, code quality, program visibility, and responsiveness to emergent requirements.
- Leverage industry best practices in transitioning brownfield applications to low-propagation-cost software components.
- Support the transition from large, pre-defined sets of capabilities to the rapid development and delivery of individual capabilities as minimum viable products.
- Support the Navy’s transition to a DEVSECOPS culture and approach.
- Combat System or Real-time System experience >5 years.
- Software Architecture experience >5 years.
- Systems Engineering experience >2 years.
- MBSE experience.
- Software testing experience >5 years.
- Broad knowledge of current software development trends in Agile Software Development and applications to DEVSECOPS.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
