Our Summer 2026 Research Associate cohort will start on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. All three offices are accessible by public transportation and in close proximity to great restaurants and shopping.   Join us in the office for catered lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, or grab a beverage from the fridge for an impromptu after-work happy hour!   The Role: Morning Consult is looking to hire self-starting team players to join our Research Enablement (RE) Team. Those in this role must have an understanding of survey research and have experience bringing people together to make projects come to life.
In this role, you will contribute to executing creative, high-impact research projects that help clients leverage our technology and consumer data to answer their most critical business questions.
  The Research Enablement Team at Morning Consult: The Research Enablement Team is a cohort-based development program designed to cultivate the next generation of high-impact researchers within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Associates gain hands-on experience supporting distinctive, high-visibility research initiatives while working alongside some of the company’s top research, strategy and operations leaders.

Positioned at the intersection of Morning Consult’s Research Solutions, Operations, Sales, AI Tooling and Client Strategy teams, the Research Enablement Team plays a critical role in delivering best-in-class custom research. The team helps drive value at scale through the thoughtful application of AI, automation and advanced tooling across the research project lifecycle, giving Associates exposure to how modern, technology-enabled research is executed at the highest level.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Providing support during research projects, learning more about the research process and project management fundamentals
  • Working closely with Research Solutions Managers to create frameworks for questionnaires and analysis, ensuring clients get the most out of their research
  • Drafting research materials (questionnaires, memos, slide decks) effectively, checking numbers, grammar and general content accuracy
  • Supporting quality assurance, generating highly accurate client deliverables alongside our Research Operations team
  • Building working relationships with members of the Commercial and Strategy divisions
  • Collaborating with teammates to both learn from others and to share learnings
  • Learning and leveraging both internal and external tools to efficiently execute all aspects of the research project lifecycle
  • Leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to identify areas of efficiency and automation, and to execute day-to-day work
  • Understanding Morning Consult tools and products and navigating these products independently

About You and What You’ve Done:

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or similar; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent academic record 
  • Prior internship experience, preferably within polling, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional or extracurricular setting
  • Experience working with and interpreting data sets
  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI and experience using AI tools to improve the quality, speed and efficiency of your work
  • Curious about the "why," and draws on curiosity when interpreting new information
  • Maintains composure in diffi
