The Senior Learning Partner is responsible to develop, implement and manage training programs and/or company-wide initiatives that align with the company’s long-term strategies for the organization. This includes the ability to conduct needs assessments, design learning curriculum and programs, deliver program content through interactive live facilitation, and evaluate impact to ensure that leaders and employees have the knowledge, skills and capabilities to perform successfully in their current and future positions. This role will participate learning committee(s) to assess needs, and develop material in various formats to include, but not limited to, e-learning and on-demand content, student manuals, instructor guides, presentations, and case studies.
How you'll make an impact
- Oversee, facilitate and continue to enhance Optiv’s Leadership Program
- Conduct comprehensive analysis to determine need, project scope and best learning methodology to ensure that the recommended program fulfills the needs and objectives of the organization.
- Collaborate with human resources business partners, managers, supervisors and staff to gain knowledge of work areas and topics requiring training and develop curriculum requirements and program designs that support organizational needs and objectives.
- Design and develop training materials using various learning theories that includes facilitator and participant guides, tutorials, demonstration models, study and reference materials, job aids, and on-the-job training.
- Design, develop, deliver and evaluate integrated performance-based learning solutions, following adult learning methodologies, which encourage an interactive, engaging, and thought-provoking learning environment.
- Develop and/or enhance new and existing training courses and programs, both virtual and instructor led, that consistently meet the goals and needs of the company.
- Gather data to identify the impact of the learning solutions and analyze data to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Provide actionable performance and behavior feedback to learners.
- Participates in other projects/initiatives/opportunities/committees as assigned.
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or Education. Masters in OD or related area a plus.
- 5 -10 years of professional classroom facilitation experience in corporate training environment.
- 5- 10 years of demonstrated success in utilizing various adult learning systems including but not limited to, seminars, workshops, one-on-one coaching, train the trainer, web-based and podcasts.
- Minimum of 5 years of design experience, including the ability to specify learning objectives and develop instructionally sound learning deliverables as well as to design and implement interactive e-learning programs and training virtual audiences.
- 5+ years’ prior experience with LMS system/ or eLearning platform preferred. Cornerstone experience a plus.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage learners throughout trainings and learning opportunities.
- Strong executive presence and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver functional skills training aligned with business goals and initiatives to drive results in a performance-based learning culture.
- Ability to recognize performance improvement opportunities and gaps and clearly identify and articulate options and tools available to help drive desired behavior.
- Demonstrates ability to lead and facilitate small and large focus groups. One who can provide exceptional coaching and mentoring opportunities to the team to learn and grow
- Ability to develop and facilitate workshops for senior and executive leadership.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, employee progression theory, various delivery methods.
- Knowledge of learning evaluation models to measure the performance and effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Strong planning, organization and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing business environment.
- Experience with training and design software. Articulate Storyline a plus
- Preferred certifications: Crucial Conversations, Clifton Strengths, DiSC, Emotional Intelligence, The Leadership Challenge.
- Ability to travel up to 40% during peak time.
