Summary
To support the site managers in driving and improving Quality, Health and Safety and Environment within DSV US Air & Sea.
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Assist in carrying out Health & Safety risk assessments in the area of responsibility (AR)
-
Assist in carrying out aspects & impacts assessments in the AR
-
Carry out accident investigations (including environmental incidents) when needed and ensure effective Corrective Actions implemented
-
Coordinate environmental activities with BU HSE officers, including collection of Eco-Consumption data, implementing local Sustainability campaigns (including Sustainability week activities), review and communication of key environmental documents in order to ensure ISO 14001 compliance.

Ensure the implementation of the corporate HSE Management System in the AR

Continuous development, identification and implementation of HSE training; train HSE Officers in the AR
-
Continuous evaluation and identification of HS related Customer/Industry requirements;
-
Engage regularly with HSE Agents in the AR ensuring HS performance is met.

Support on tenders and customer audits in regards to the HSE requirements for the AR;
-
Perform internal QHSE audits according to the regional audit plan
-
Participate in external QHSE or related audits according to the regional audit plan.

Ability to implement ISO9001 requirements within BU’s
-
Performs other duties as assigned
Educational background / Work experience
-
Industry experience (2-3 years)
-
Knowledge & experience in implementing an HSE Management System
-
Know how of ISO45000, ISO 14001, ISO9001
-
Know how in carrying out an QHSE Internal Audit
-
Knowledge of EPS Customer Requirements
-
Knowledge of freight forwarding / logistics / supply chain management
-
Overall understanding of business processes and interdependencies
-
Knowledge about trends and challenges for the industry

Basic level required with the ability to verify inventory, order accuracy, and other quality driven initiatives.
