Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor for our Oklahoma City, OK location.

 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (3:00pm - 12:00am)

 

Summary: To coordinate, oversee, and implement all activities involving personnel practices, policies, and procedures at the OKC Processing facility.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the implementation of Company policies and procedures.
  • Assists employees with any problems, complaints, or conflicts that may arise.
  • Enters absenteeism, vacations, etc. into HRIS, prints line passes, and obtains signatures on the line passes.
  • Assists management with employee counseling, corrective actions, performance appraisals and terminations.
  • Interview employees during incident investigations and submit disciplinary recommendation to the on-site HR Manager and the Sr. Director of Human Resources for approval.
  • Makes certain all personnel policies are constantly being checked, updated, and communicated to management within the Company.
  • Documentation and record keeping of personnel files.
  • Communicates benefit options and assists employees in reaching the benefits department.
  • Performs data entry such as status changes, address changes, absenteeism, and tax changes.
  • Screens, schedules, interviews, and makes recommendation for potential employees.
  • Dispositions applicants not selected for hire in the HRIS system
  • Provisional employment offer for the successful candidate
  • Schedules onboarding
  • Performs onboarding and data entry of new employees to include tax forms entry into SAP
  • Assists applicant with Form I-9 Management System to verify his/her employment eligibility
  • Certifies Form I-9 documents presented to establish identity and employment eligibility
  • Initiates E-Verify.
  • Resolves and/or provides referral documents to employees who receive any result other than ‘employment authorized’.
  • Assists employees in completion of WOTC application through the online portal.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct reports.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university desired; or one to two years related HR experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of E-Mail software, Success Factors, HR Utilities, timesheet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

 

Other Qualifications: Highly organized and able to think systemically to structure the work and design in a logical flow.  Other key attributes include self-motivated, organized, computer literate, attention to detail and follow through with exceptional writing and communication skills.
