From development advisory to project and cost management, from program management to engineering design, smart building and sustainability, from fit-out to asset repositioning and major base-build schemes, our services span every dimension across all asset types, sectors and regions.</p><p></p><p>The department team comprises project managers, engineers, designers and architects across many countries.</p><p></p><p>As the Technical Director of Data Centers for Spain, Italy &amp; Portugal you will be responsible for:</p><p></p><p><span>Sales:</span></p><ul><li><span>Actively network, build and develop client relationships across data centres (“DC”) market,</span></li><li><span>Develop opportunities on the DC Market into proposals and sales,</span></li><li><span>Liaise with other company expertise and departments to build integrated multi-expertise approaches to solve our clients complex problems (Leasing agency, Capital Markets, Sustainability, Consulting, Smart Building, Design&amp;Build etc.),</span></li><li><span>Lead bid responses on behalf of Project &amp; Development services, confidently deliver client presentations / pitches,</span></li><li><span>Manage or supervise contract negotiation process until signature.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span>Operations &amp; Management:</span></p><ul><li><span>Provide technical leadership and oversight for all data center projects within Spain, Portugal, and Italy, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards,</span></li><li><span>Define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements, working closely with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans,</span></li><li><span>Oversee the technical design and implementation of data center solutions, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and client specifications,</span></li><li><span>Review drawings, technical specifications and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness,</span></li><li><span>Provide technical guidance on the selection of equipment, materials, and vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality,</span></li><li><span>Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with data center projects, developing contingency plans and proactive solutions,</span></li><li><span>Troubleshoot complex technical issues that arise during project execution, providing timely and effective resolution,</span></li><li><span>Conduct technical reviews of project deliverables, ensuring compliance with quality standards and client expectations,</span></li><li><span>Coordinate technical activities across multiple project teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration,</span></li><li><span>Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders,</span></li><li><span>Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and proposals to clients and senior management,</span></li><li><span>Develop and maintain technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for data center project management,</span></li><li><span>Ensure that all data center projects adhere to relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.</span></li><li><span>Promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve project efficiency and effectiveness,</span></li><li><span>Participating in drawing up the development strategy for the Data Centres market:</span></li><li><span>Lead technical due diligence efforts for potential data center projects, assessing feasibility, risks, and opportunities,</span></li><li><span>Conduct technical assessments of existing data center facilities, identifying areas for improvement and optimization,</span></li><li><span>Provide technical expertise in the development of project proposals and bids, ensuring competitive and realistic solutions</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span>Management:</span></p><ul><li><span>Build
