Job Description:

As am IT Project/Task Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of U.S. Army Europe and AFRICOM. You will play a crucial role in in supplying mission command support in Wiesbaden Germany.

• Results-focused by successfully and continually communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising results; coaching and counseling team members; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new team members; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

• Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing solutions.

• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with internal teams and external organizations.

• Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.

• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

• Contributes to team effort by assisting team members with accomplishing milestone deliverables.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Manager must have:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

• Experience: 5+ years of project management experience

• Technical skills: Technical Management, Technical Understanding, Analyzing Information, Informing Others, Staffing, Problem Solving, Data Center Management, Developing Budgets, Coordination, Strategic Planning, Quality Management.

• Security clearance level: Secret Level Security Clearance

• US citizenship required

• Role requirements: Candidate must have a current 8750 IAT II certification at time of hire plus an ITSM and PMP certification is desired.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
