Team Lead - Assembly (Weekend Shift)

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Team Lead - Assembly (Weekend Shift).
The hourly rate for this position is $23.77 and a 11.12% shift premium per hour. The hours for this shift are 5 am - 5 pm, Friday to Sunday.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
In the Team Leader role, you will work with the Supervisor to drive results on key metrics including safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. You will provide leadership by promoting teamwork, training others, and providing proactive resolution to production needs. Additionally, you will help ensure supervisors uphold standards and actively support team performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• You will provide guidance and direction for team to accomplish compliance in safety, quality, and production expectations.
• You will maintain high levels of quality in assigned areas of functional responsibility.
• You will provide training, instruction, and production-related guidance to employees. You will also provide guidance and direction to employees to ensure compliance with 5S at the start and end of each shift.
• You will provide daily tactical oversight to employees in your area of responsibility to understand production goals and targets and achieve desired results.
• You will lead Tier 1 meetings to share goal results throughout the day if supervisor is unable to attend.
• Familiar with systems including DMM, ENOVIA, Turnback, Change Notice, Vista, and AS400.
• Updating supervisor with issues as they arise.
• Promote a culture of quality by ensuring all team members follow proper procedures and produce work that meets Eaton’s standards.
• Leads by example to inspire, motivate, and foster a positive team environment.
• Effectively addresses and resolves conflicts to maintain team productivity.
• Drive a forklift when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in switchgear assembly.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience managing people or project teams.
• South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent.
• Experienced in navigating DMM, ENOVIA, Turnback, and Change Notice.
Skills:
POSITION CRITERIA:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs. Utilize various hand tools to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to noise and frequently exposed to dust.
