Senior Product Designer - Video Verification & Emergency Response
Alarm.comAbout the role
At Noonlight our mission is to protect and comfort people so they can live freely. What began as an app focused on helping people walk safely from point A to point B, is now a suite of emergency response APIs backing some of the smartest home, health, lifestyle, and commercial security products in the market.
Today, our fastest growing API and service is used for video verification and false alarm filtering, and with the help of live Noonlight agents, processes more than 10K events per day.
We are looking for an experienced designer to craft our video verification and emergency response dashboards. As a Sr. Product Designer, you will be responsible for talking with customers, monitoring agents, and first responders, gathering insights, influencing Noonlight’s product roadmap, advocating for simplicity, and continuously improving our video verification and emergency response efficacy and speed.

- Be flexible: Excel in ambiguity, and demonstrate an eagerness to iterate on ideas based on feedback from customers and stakeholders. Your team meets every morning and runs rapid experiments throughout the week (often 1 per day!)

- Be an advocate: Interview Noonlight agents, end customers, and first responders. Develop a continuous and deep understanding of how Noonlight agents use Noonlight’s dashboards. Share insights with your team and advocate for end users - your work will directly impact how people receive help during real-life emergencies.
- Be a perfectionist: Design and maintain simple, high-quality dashboard experiences, while co-developing a design system to be used across Noonlight’s platform.
- Bring your ideas! We want our designers to deliver insights, push the team’s thinking, push their own thinking, and help us disrupt the security industry.

- 5+ years experience designing frequent-use tools, dashboards and E2E experiences
- Online portfolio showcasing video players, dashboards, design systems, or API-related work
