We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager, OSP Service Assurance (Night Shift) to oversee and manage the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of outside plant (OSP) break/fix projects and emergency restoration for our telecommunications infrastructure, supporting network restoration and maintenance 24 hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful repair of our network. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the telecommunications industry, with a focus on OSP projects.
NOTE: This role will be expected to work the Night Shift for the team. Hours will be discussed at the time of Interview.
**The team is open to this role working in a remote capacity within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Lead and manage the planning and execution of outside plant break/fix from inception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects as required.
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, construction, design) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, contractors) to ensure SLA objectives are met.
Oversee OSP activities, including fiber placement, splicing coordination, make-ready support, restoration, and maintenance.
Ensure work aligns with construction prints, permits, and engineering specifications.
Budget and Resource Management:
Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled, and projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Establish, monitor, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of deliverables and supporting workflows in order to measure operational performance, as well as identify and assess areas of opportunity for improved process efficiencies and performance.
Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials. Timely update of budget requests, purchase orders, project close outs.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget overruns.
Resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project, including procurement delays, resource shortages, or technical challenges.
