Job Title:   Sr. Project Manager – Sustaining Engineering Change Management

Reports to:  Director R&D Sustaining Engineering         

• To develop and drive a team of Change Managers who plan and manage Engineering Changes to Released Products

Responsibilities:

• Manage team of Engineering Change Managers to plan and drive engineering changes from initial change request though execution and full manufacturing/distribution channel implementation
• Work closely with Sustaining Program Management to ensure Engineering Change plans support overall Project Goals
• Lead critical Engineering Changes
• Lead the Engineering Change cross functional team in communicating and tracking defined deliverables
• Support development of improved Change Management Processes
• Work closely with Technical SME to ensure all tasks are identified and planned appropriately
• Assess the impact (risk, costs, timing) of Change requests
• Schedule regular meetings to ensure all cross functional team members critical to the Project/Change are kept informed and are completing necessary actions as assigned
• Manage Engineering Change deliverables through all steps of the Change Process
• Drive improvements to the engineering change process
• Directs employees and gives them operational guidance
