KRE Security, LLC is hiring Armed Security Officers for a temporary overnight assignment at a private summer camp in Fannettsburg, PA.

This is a low-activity, structured overnight post ideal for experienced officers seeking steady summer work in a calm environment. Officers will primarily conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible security presence during overnight hours while camp operations are inactive.

Many shifts are expected to be quiet, predictable, and patrol-based with minimal public interaction.

Pay & Schedule

•  $23.00/hour 
•  Tentative assignment dates: June 21 – August 11 
•  Overnight shift: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM 
•  Full-time and part-time openings available 
•  Officers may work one or multiple nights per week based on availability. 
•  Flexible scheduling available 
•  One officer scheduled on site per shift 
•  Consistent weekly hours available for reliable officers 

Opportunity Beyond Summer

This assignment may lead to:

•  Permanent full-time positions 
•  Per diem / on-call work 
•  Future armed details with KRE Security 

Reliable officers who perform well during the assignment will receive priority consideration for continued work opportunities after the summer season.

Responsibilities

•  Maintain armed security presence on camp property 
•  Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds 
•  Monitor entrances and verify authorized individuals 
•  Respond to alarms or incidents if needed 
•  Complete basic incident and activity reports 

Requirements

•  Act 235 certification (required) 
•  Valid driver’s license 
•  Clean criminal background 
•  Ability to pass drug screening 
•  Reliable transportation and punctuality 

Required clearances (must be current or obtained before start):

•  FBI Fingerprint Clearance 
•  PA Child Abuse Clearance 
•  PATCH Background Check 

Prior military, law enforcement, or armed security experience preferred.
