Position Start Date: June 9, 2025 

Required Degree: PhD in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Planetary Science, or related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: 

• Significant experience in photodynamical modeling of Kepler exoplanetary systems required
• Background in exoplanet transits, dynamics, and interiors
• Extensive computational modeling experience in python
• Experience in effective supercomputer utilization
• Experience in scientific writing 

Duties/Expectations: 

The successful applicant will work under the direction of Dr. Darin Ragozzine on publishing materials based on a large photodynamical catalog of data from the Kepler Space Telescope. Additional tasks are adjacent to this catalog on the topics of dynamical stability and exoplanetary interiors.

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
