Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities: Technician will support Launch Vehicle Processing of the Artemis Launch Vehicles at Kennedy Space Center. This
support will include flight hardware assembly operations, and testing and validations of flight and ground systems. Working in a team
environment, candidate will work to detailed instructions and schematics to perform work in all aspects of flight hardware. Technician
will be participating in training requirements to obtain all necessary certifications to perform assembly work.

High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience or equivalent technical training.

- Must be able to follow work instructions, interpret engineer drawings and follow stringent work area rules and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Must demonstrate moderate level of proficiency in mechanical or electrical technical operations.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to pass SCAPE physical and maintain a security clearance.
- Must be able to work Weekends and Off-Shifts, if required.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
- Will be required to climb stairs to access equipment for troubleshooting.
- Climbing ladders and platforms will be necessary.
- Will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection and other associated personal protective equipment.
- Position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Physical requirements are sitting, walking, standing, extensive use of stairs, and access to remote structures.
- Must be able to work in tight confined space areas.
Work Environment
- All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and Company safety standards.
- Will be required to work inside and outside throughout the test complex.
- Position requires daily individual to travel to different areas on site.
- Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand is required to access various locations on the facility.
Equipment and Machines
- Cranes and other heavy equipment such as crane carriers, Hi-Rangers, man lift platforms, hydraulic lifts, spider staging, converter dollies, cargo lift trailers, and tractor/trailers.
- Operate computer terminals, personal computers, and related computer peripheral equipment to maintain/adjust database logs and records, print documents and record work performance.
- Personal computer, scanner, copy machine, telephone, laser printer, fax machine, and other office equipment including desk supplies.
Attendance
- Work assignments are normally 8 hours shifts, 5 consecutive days per week.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Occasional overtime, sometimes with short notice, is required to meet demanding schedule
